Tammy Sheridan
The definition of End product means those articles, materials, and supplies to be acquired under the contract for public use. But what does "public use" mean in this case?
Fara Fasat
From the codification of the BAA at 41 USC 8301: The terms "public building", "public use", and "public work" mean a public building of, use by, and a public work of, the Federal Government, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, American Samoa, and the Virgin Islands. So an end product is anything acquired for the use of the federal government. An end product is generally what is listed as a line item, but it can get complicated when the government is procuring a system, or products that are intended to work together. When in doubt, ask the CO what they intend to treat as the end product in the evaluation.
