Thank you for the feedback. Correct, $800 was funded for an effort to be performed in OY1, OY2 continued the same work. The CLIN can be increased, it is an estimated cost CLIN with a fixed fee. My concern is the total lifecycle of the contract. If the $200 remaining is unfunded could it be de-scoped from OY1? Then could that $200 be used in OY2 so there wouldn’t be a change in the total lifecycle of the contract?

What more information would you need? OY1 underburned, OY 2 is over burning. This is CPFF, the contract is incrementally funded.

Yes, OY2 does have an estimated cost. Yes, I’m asking about increasing the estimated cost CLIN in OY2. The contract is incremental funded. Not talking about any funding. Asking if the remaining “ceiling” of $200 from OY1 that was never funded be moved to OY2?

CPFF contract and the option year 1 CPFF CLIN has an estimated cost of $1,000 but is only funded to $800. Fast forward to option year 2, can that $200 cost remaining be used in option year 2 on a CPFF CLIN?

Have a delivery order issued off a IDIQ contract. The IDIQ ordering period doesn’t end until March 2025. The delivery order had a had a delivery date from date of award +365, so April 15, 2023-April 14, 2024. So, delivery should have been made; however the contractor needs an extension. My concern is that the request for extension was made May 1, 2024, which is after the delivery date. Can an extension be done after the PoP of the delivery order has ended?

FFP delivery order is fully funded at award. Award made April 1, 2024. So, 3000 widgets are ordered, first delivery is 12 months (April 1, 2025) after award for a qty of 250, 13th month qty 250, 14th month qty 250, etc. Am I correct, that the funding will need to be good until the last delivery is made? Meaning, FY24 procurement funds need to be used? In addition, if the award was made April 1, 2024, then first delivery is April 1, 2025, should the last delivery be Mar 30, 2026. My concern is the order crosses 2 fiscal years.

CPFF CLIN is under run on one CLIN and over run on another, so need to realign funding, does the fee realign as well?

I have a FFP contract that has procurement funding and is severable. Can the period of performance be extended beyond 12 months?
