My understanding/interpretation of 12.201-1c is to use the combined synopsis solicitation format stated in 12.202(b) for actions over the SAT. Coworkers disagree and indicate an SF1449 or SF18 (or Agency format/automated format) must also be posted. Looking for feedback especially since effort is to streamline and not complicate and potentially provide/post conflicting information. Notably, the combined syn/sol explicitly states "This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued."

I agree with you. RFO 12.202(b)(1)(i) instructs you to include information in the Description of the combined synopsis/solicitation that would otherwise be in the SF 1449.

I agree as well. It seems no different than pre-RFO for that matter where FAR 12.603 said no to the 1449. In the RFO 12.6 is now gone but it appears that found in FAR 12.6 has either rolled up to other subparts of the RFO or are gone all together.
