July 6Jul 6 comment_99021 Hello Contracting professionals!Our company is working on an exciting project, Waypoint, with the sponsorship of 23d Contracting Squadron (Moody AFB), to bring AI Agents into contracting workflows. Waypoint is designed to address the biggest bottlenecks in the acquisition process: Back and forth emails, incomplete requirements packages, unclear customer input and manual document drafting can slow the mission before contracting workflows can even begin.Waypoint is designed to address commodity, construction, and services workflows. For instance, in the commodity flow, Waypoint walks them from that first requirement through market research, code assignment, vendor discovery, clause selection, and drafting Sections B, C, and D. Our team is hyper focused on building tools to enable mission partners and contracting specialists to collaborate more effectively to accelerate contracting velocity. We’re also making our agentic software grounded in the RFO/FAR to base every answer and AI-generated document strictly on the RFO/FAR regulations.The initial results based on the pilot with several operational contracting squadrons has been very promising. Waypoint will absolutely reduce the time spent on manual tasks to give you more capacity to address higher value-add tasks. We are looking for your help to: 1/Test operational contracting workflows and validate Waypoint’s findings, and 2/Feed hard RFO / FAR questions into Waypoint to evaluate how the system answers them and if the answers would be helpful in your operations. Your support as testers will directly impact the product roadmap and substantially improve the platform to deliver the most delightful operational contracting platform across the Enterprise.
