FORUM REDESIGN

The Wifcon Forum is being redesigned. The redesign should launch within the next two weeks. The old forum will be accessible in archives.

As tentatively redesigned, the Forum will have two parts: I. Questions and Answers and II. Commentary, Opinions, and Debates.

The draft groundrules are as follows:

Q&A

Registered Members may post questions here without fear of criticism or rebuke.

Begin your post with your question, one question at a time, written in plain English without the use of non-standard abbreviations or uncommon acronyms, and free of uncommon jargon. Then provide any background and context needed to understand the question.

Monitor your post, and respond promptly to requests for additional information or clarification. Your post will be closed to further inquires or responses if such requests remain unanswered after five woriing days.

Responses must be on point and respectful.

Responses should be based on any applicable laws, regulations, policies, case law, theory, or professionally acceptable business practice.

Inaccurate responses may be pointed out and corrected by members or by the webmaster.

All Q&As will be closed and archived after 14 calendar days without new activity.

Questions and responses will be achived after closure and remain accessible thereafter.

The webmaster will not participate in Q&A, but will monitor them for adherence to these rules and take corrective action when necessary.

COMMENTARY: OPINIONS & DEBATES

Registered members may post commentary, opinions, and debate topics here and may say what they think.

Such posts and responses must be on point and respectful, may be forceful, pointed, and critical, but must not include rude or personally insulting language or profanity.

All such posts will be closed and archived after 14 calendar days without new activity. However, a closed Commentary, Opinions & Debates post may be revived in a new post.

The webmaster will not participate in commentary, opinions, or debates, but will monitor them for adherence to these rules and take corrective action when necessary.
