March 21Mar 21 comment_91450 Good morning from the east coast, I am working on a team who is tasked to assist the entities FCMs with analyzing contractual data to get them on track with category management principle. My inquiry is this -- Is there a repository somewhere that contains KPIs personnel have used for their government-wide categories? I know that some would be particular to the entity itself according to it's strategic outlook and policies, but wondering if there are some boilerplate ones that I could adjust to fit my need. Thanks for any assistance and hopefully this is posted in the right section. Dave Report

March 21Mar 21 Author comment_91452 I have read that as well as the Government-wide Category Management Key Performance Indicators Definitions and Guidance V6.0 dated February 25, 2025. But it only speaks about BIC, SUM, Cost Avoidance, etc. I am looking for more specific ones that I can tailor vs doing them on my own. For example these are some I came up with; backlog (remaining fund), compliance rate, contracts at risk, contract turnaround time (PALT), contract terminations....something that can be used to refine and improve category initiatives. Majority of Google searches and chatGPT I found relate to corporate supplier realm where it does not really correlate to government contracting. Report
March 21Mar 21 comment_91453 I was involved with CM years ago but I’m not aware of anyone using performance indicators similar to what you are looking for. My suggestion is track down members of the former CM Leadership Council and see if they are aware of anything. Report
