If an agency solicits proposals through full and open means, but only receives one bid, is cost or pricing data required? Since an attempt at competition was made, do we need to pursue this additional information? DCAA information has been requested, the price proposal has been reviewed for price realism and reasonableness.

Read FAR 15.403-1(B)(1) and ?(1)(ii). If need be you can ask for information other than cost or pricing data and you can ask for DCAA assistance.

Thanks Vern. I read that FAR reference which lead me to ask the question. We have asked for DCAA assistance which I am happy we did.
