Most Government Agencies and a lot of Government Contractors utilize software tools (both contract writing and contract administration) in some manner in the attempts to create efficiencies and reduce costs within their organization. I am in search of input from both Government and Contractor personnel in the contracting working force and those in other career fields. Contract Writing Software: 1. What does your current contract writing tool lack in the terms of performance that you would like to see added? 2. What are the best characteristics of your current contract writing tool? 3. Fill in the blank: If you could have ____________ in this tool it would create additional efficiencies and reduction in cost. Contract Management/ Administration Software 1. What aspects of a prime contract are necessary to track from the worker level? (deliverables, contract reporting requirements, financials, etc.) 2. What aspects of a subcontract are necessary to track from the worker level? 3. What aspects of a contract are necessary to track from the manager or executive level? 4. Fill in the blank: If you could have_____________ in this tool it would create additional efficiencies and reduce cost. 5. What would make a contract management tool efficient? (ie. automatic notifications, quick contract reports, a common organization management system, integration with other tools, etc) Your input is greatly appreciated.
