DKarlo
If a contractor were to receive a new COR to their contract, would assigning their acting supervisor as COR (with which there is known conflict between) be a conflict of interest? Huh? How does a contractor “receive” a “new” Contracting Officer’s Representative? Who is assigning WHOSE “acting supervisor”? Who is the “known conflict” between? What do you mean by “known conflict?” The entire scenario is gibberish to me.
Jacques
Your post seems really vague on the "known conflict," but if you are suggesting the conflict relates to the fact that the COR is an "acting supervisor," you are likely barking up the wrong tree. If the CORs you are referencing are Government employees, the conflict of interest rules are those applicable to Government employees, like 18 USC 208 and 5 CFR Part 2640. Those rules are concerned with financial interests other than one's Government salary. You really need to restate your post.
