jeff4757
Where in the PRIME contract does it outline the Flowdowns required to subcontractors. I realize 52.244-6 are required but do other clauses spell out the requirement? Thank you.
Guest Vern Edwards
The FAR does not contain a list of flowdowns. Flowdown is specified on a clause-by-clause basis. Every prime contract clause that must be flowed down contains a flowdown statement. See e.g., FAR 52.215-12, "Subcontractor Certified Cost or Pricing Data (OCT 2010)," paragraph ( c): ( c) In each subcontract that exceeds the threshold for submission of certified cost or pricing data at FAR 15.403-4, when entered into, the Contractor shall insert either— (1) The substance of this clause, including this paragraph ( c), if paragraph (a) of this clause requires submission of certified cost or pricing data for the subcontract; or (2) The substance of the clause at FAR 52.215-13, Subcontractor Certified Cost or Pricing Data—Modifications. Cajuncharlie
JPH, suggest you search WIFCON discussions for flowdowns. We have gone through this subject in detail already.
