Will
Hello, I am a new 1102 Price/Cost Analyst assigned to a LPTA source selection under which only one offer was received in response to the RFP. Our legal advisors are requesting a competitive range determination (because we intend to hold discussions due to technical inadequacy), however, I've talked with several senior personnel within our organization who state that one cannot be determined due to receipt of only one offer. 15.306© seems to support establishing a competitive range that is composed of the only and, by default, "most highly rated" proposal. Any advice would be appreciated.
Guest Vern Edwards
Your lawyers are being silly. Don't argue with people who are so silly. Write up a brief competitive range determination and be done with it.
