dkc1978
I am looking for advice/ideas for further research into the subject topic. At my office, I am responsible for procuring a variety of software purchases. So I utilize NASA SEWP, GSA and ESI for my requirements. I have been tasked with researching the possibility of utilizing/awarding an IDIQ for software licenses, to potentially take advantage of discounts offered by vendors based on potential volume of licenses purchased for any given software application. Does anyone have any experience with this, and how do you ensure you comply with the mandatory use of ESI? First time poster, so I hope I have come to the right place. formerfed
Talk with your leading software sources via market research. Let them know the volume of licenses and ask for reactions on amount of discounts. Compare that with what’s available from SEWP and ESI. Don’t do you own IDIQ unless it’s essential. You can likely get the same pricing by establishing BPAs off GSA Schedule.
