wayforward
Because of the "Technatomy "decision the $10M task order threshhold for protests of civilian agency procurements has gone away, at least for now, so any task order value would be eligible for a protest--if there is a good case for it. Correct? My company has just filed 2 task order protests under $10M, something they could not do 2 months ago. I am actually very unhappy that any dollar value task order can now be protested. How long will this trend last ? and will this window of opportunity to protest almost any task order award ultimately create a bureaucratic mess and create ill will amongst Contractors and the Govt KO's. ?? Can anyone offer a scenario?
Cajuncharlie
Should a contractor competing with fellow MATOC or IDIQ awardees have less right or ability to protest than the contractor would have under full and open?
wayforward
Good point, all should be fair. However, there should be a cap if not $10M maybe $5M as the majority of the protests will be baseless in my opinion and a waste of time and money.
