Canceling fees allowable?

I have a question posted a topic in Contract Pricing Including CAS & Allowable Costs

Are early cancelation fees for a subscription allowable? Subscription costs are allowable per FAR 31.205-43(b) but I'm not sure an early cancelation fee meets the allocability criteria. Thanks!
