  1. A recent situation has come up where the Government has been engaging in internal discussions on ground about re-competing a contract. In this instance, the Government had a meeting (Gov't only) in a conference room in which all contractors/military can freely use. After this meeting, the Gov't left information on the white board that stated many courses of action, one of them stating "#1 priority - (Contract Name) RECOMPETE." This information is not public, has not been solicited to the street, nor has the Contracting Officer notified the contractor about the apparent recompete that is in discussion. Employees of the current contract have seen this information and resignations are coming through left and right. Is there any clause or case that could apply in the contractors favor, whether this was purposeful or not? Staffing is and will likely continue to take a hit. Thanks
