I am Bob Antonio, the Owner of Wifcon.com LLC.
I am a former bureacrat who spent his career working for the Congress of the United States, Section 1 of the Constitution of the United States. My 32-year career was spent reviewing, analyzing, critiquing, and reporting on the federal government's contracting and its contracting programs. Some of the agencies where I reviewed government contracting and contracting programs included: the Departments of the Army, Navy, and Air Force; the Departments of Agriculture, Commerce, Education, Energy, Health and Human Services, Housing and Urban Development, the Interior, Justice, Labor, State, Transportation, the Treasury, Veterans Affairs; the General Services Administration, Environmental Protection Agency, National Aeronautics and Space Administration, and the National Science Foundation.
In 1987, I wrote a 3-day course and was its primary instructor at the Government Accountability Office (GAO). The course was given to over 3,000 GAO auditors and analysts and some federal Inspectors General members. The course was designed to instill (1) an interest in reviewing government contracting and contracting programs and (2) how contracting was supposed to work and how contracting and contracting programs were abused.
In 1987, I was awarded a Master of Science in Procurement Management from The American University, Washington, D. C.
In 1998, I created Wifcon.com as a not-for-profit entity. My goal was to be part of the internet and to try to pay back the federal contracting workforce. In 2008, I converted Wifcon.com to a commercial venture as Wifcon.com LLC.
