Happy Friday and welcome to another addition of the SmallGovCon Week in Review. Mark your calendars as my colleagues will be providing government contracting insights in multiple forums in the next few weeks. And, of course, there are some interesting updates from the world of federal contracting this past week.

Matthew Moriarty (along with other esteemed guests) will be speaking on the topic of CMMC – Cybersecurity Status on Jun 23, 2020 from 8:15 – 9 am central. You can register here. Matthew Moriarty will also be presenting on FAR Part 28 – Bonds and Insurance on June 26 at 11 am. And, as I mentioned last week, be on the lookout for Matthew Schoonover, who will be presenting June 16 on Increasing Competitiveness: Teaming, Joint Ventures, and the Mentor/Protégé Program.

For those who like their federal contracting updates via podcast, Haley Claxton will be featured on the Big Bid Theory podcast speaking about small business set-asides next week. Find out more here.

This week saw a number of interesting stories from Uncle Sam’s purchasing programs, including how supply chain management fits into the COVID-19 response, a teen winning government contracts, and 2020 federal contract spending on track to top last year.
