Thank You, Bridging Partnerships!
I’m back in Kansas following a whirlwind trip to Kennewick Washington, to present at Bridging Partnerships. On Thursday, I spoke (perhaps a bit too quickly) about various regulatory changes impacting small business federal contractors.
My sincere thanks to everyone at the Hanford Small Business Council for the opportunity to visit Kennewick and explore eastern Washington. I also want to give special thanks to Kelly Brazil, who worked with me to get a seat on the bus tour of the Hanford Site environmental clean up. For those of you unfamiliar with the Hanford Site, it is the former plutonium processing facility for the Manhattan Project. It is now going through extensive environmental remediation under the direction of DOE. It’s something I’ve always wanted to see, so I sincerely appreciated the opportunity.
To everyone I met, it was a pleasure getting to know you, and I hope our paths cross again.
