ACRNs AND VOUCHERS

One of my contractors has reported that DFAS has rejected a voucher because the voucher did not specify ACRNs.  Has anyone else had the same experience?  What, specifically, does DFAS want to see on the voucher?

An ACRN is a Accounting Classification Reference Number, a 2-position control code used in all DCMA administered contracts. It relates to the long line of accounting found elsewhere in the contract.

See DFARS 204.7107 "Contract accounting classification reference number (ACRN)."  The ACRN is simply a shorthand for the funding line.  In my experience, ACRNs are ususally included with the funding line as follows: AA: 9700400 2520 ...
